"Facilities would have been better if the pool had been completed. The hotel was advertised with a pool but on arrival we found it still in the process of being built.
The location is some distance from Rome centre and also from a Metro station. This meant we had to catch a bus to the metro (about 15 min bus ride). A more regular shuttle service to the Metro would assist. Also if shuttle services were added to pick up from the Metro and also deliver to the airport would help mitigate the location issues" - Anonymous

The “Black Hotel” is a brand new four stars hotel located in the closest neighbourhood of the ancient Roman road Aurelia, through which you can easily reach both the sea and the Vatican City, fully surrounded by a greenery area and it is a 5 km. far away from St. Peter’s Cathedral.
The building, opened since September 2005, stands with all its unquestionable originality like a big black elegant box, furnished and structured in a full New Life Style in order to warrant a pleasant staying of well-being both physical and mental to its guests.
The environment is comfortable, luminous and welcoming, properly arranged to induce its clients to relax themselves but also to a healthy re-birth since the early morning. The breakfast room is characterized by wide glass pane which faces the external garden of the Hotel. You can feel quite plunged in the nature but with all the facilities and comforts you need.

The Hotel is reachable by underground from Termini Station (“A” line, Battistini direction), getting down at Cornelia stop. Then take bus n. 246 and get down in front of Panorama Saupermarket. We are just 100 meters away behind the supermarket.
By car, drive through Rome GRA and exit at n.1 Aurelia, then drive for 2 km towards the centre of Rome and see of your left Panorama Supermarket. We are just behind it.
