Cabin Mid Week 4 night Special
The spacious cedar cottage which accommodate a couple, has an open plan layout, is self-contained (as well as having a Restaurant 400 metres away).
Even though they are self contained, we spoil you by supplying some complimentary goodies, farm fresh eggs, tea & coffee, jams etc and bake you the famous loaf !
Your cabin is well appointed with a quiet air conditioner, ceiling fan and a log fire for the winter months. It has a modern kitchen with dishwasher. Also a TV, DVD, CD surround sound HI-FI .
The en suite bathroom with soft lighting has a two person Spa and a heated towel rail. The cabin's verandah with barbeque offers you the chance to unwind, overlooking lush forest scenery.
There is a pool with tennis court and a electric BBQ at the shared recreation area.

"Cabins were nice, comfortable. Lots of wildlife around, wallabies, bush turkeys, possums, birds which is nice. Lovely walk to the dam, which is very impressive. Around 20kms from closest town so you are far away enough to be in peace but close enough if you need something. Floor heating in bathroom, spa and woodfire were nice touches." - Jermaine Peters
"Our stay at Bluegums was exactly what we hoped for. A relaxing time away from the fast life of Sydney. We woke up to the sound of birds and all that nature had to offer. Australian wildlife at your door step and they will eat out of your hands if you let them. The fire place gave bluegum that extra touch. We stayed in Cabin 2 which brought in beautiful morning sun. Very well kept and clean (new out of the 2 cabins) and very nice size bathroom and corner spa (we loved the floor heating). Horse riding is only walking distance and a load of fun, we were taken through bush land (duration 1hr 15mins) This is a place we will try and come back to really soon. Thank you Herman & Val. BLUEGUMS CABINS - BARRINGTON TOPS Romantic cabins in adjacent forests - Romance Retreat Relax Revive.
The spacious cosy cedar cottages accommodate a couple, have an open plan layout, are self-contained (as well as having a Restaurant 400 metres away #) and has ensuite Bathroom.
We are within walking distance from Chichester Dam, horseriding, restaurant and bush walks. The nearby forests with cascading falls, lookouts, rainforest walks varying from easy to "for the fittest only". Also there are some great (2WD & 4WD) drives and boutique wineries in Gresford & Stroud, some with picnic facilities ! A pleasant drive away are the historic villages of Morpeth, Clarence Town, Stroud and Paterson.

Our great location, a 2 1/2 hours drive north of Sydney(from the start of the F3 expressway) and even closer from Newcastle, The Central Coast and Nelson Bay. It allows you to appreciate the majestic beauty of nearby BARRINGTON TOPS NATIONAL PARK and walk to CHICHESTER DAM.
Dungog is 21 km south of Bluegums, on the main Brisbane line and we offer a pick up service from the railway station.
It's a sealed tar road drive all the way to the entrance of the property.

Experience the natural splendour of Barrington Tops. The unique quality of this region is reflected in its listing as a World Heritage Area. It has the habitat for an enormous diversity of plant and animal life. If the "pretty faced" wallabies are around, they will eat out of your hand, the same for the abundant bird life. On booking please email us at bluegums@bravo.net.au and we will confirm the booking & forward easy to follow detailed instructions on our great location plus what to bring & local sights info. etc. We also allow people to check in late, lights can be left on etc. Just let us know. We aim to please and make your stay Special.

Both cabins are of an open plan design. Cabin 2 has a lounge that converts to a sofabed, but as there is a dam and veranda, it's not realy suitable for children. Children over 12 are charged at adult rate. |
