"Excellent Hotel and fantastic location. Very clean and comfortable and if I ever need to spend the night in Machester again then this is the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was undergoing some renervation work but it did not disturb us or make it unbearable to to stay in.

"We had an executive room, not quite sure what the executive bit was, curtains hanging off rail, room had too much furniture in it so was cramped, had room on 5th floor that only had half a window!!!! Room decor dark and depressing. Otherwise hotel lovation and service fine." - Anonymous
"My parents come over once a year from Holland, and I booked them in. They loved the hotel, it is grand, breakfast was great although not included in the price. The only drawback was the window lock was broken and the outside window balcony was used as an ashtray, could have been cleaned. The entrance to the hotel is very impressive, the lobby bar is a good place to meet and the location is just so central." - Hessel F de Boer
