Above a cellar bar but no noise evident at all when I stayed but maybe an issue in the hieght of summer. Each apartment is decorated in its own unique style. All bedrooms have comfortable beds with linen and towels provided. Bathrooms are private and fitted with a powerful shower and bath. Our fully fitted kitchens give you the chance to be your own chef and include utensils, toaster, oven, microwave and washing machine. Castle apartments all have a comfortable lounge with TV and DVD player. Many apartments have additional futon beds for extra guests.
Our apartments are located along or within 250 metres of this historic thoroughfare and in the very heart of Edinburgh. Run on a hotel basis with a minimum of one nights stay, Castle Apartments offer a real alternative to a hotel. For the same price as a hotel room we offer 3 star accommodation that gives you the freedom and flexibility of your own apartment in the centre of Edinburgh’s old town.

From Edinburgh Airport to Queen Street Driving Exit Edinburgh Airport on to East Field Road – follow signs for the City Centre/Edinburgh Zoo. Go through Eastfield Road and turn left onto the A8. Enter Edinburgh on Glasgow Road (A8). Go through the Drumbrae Roundabout and onto Saint John's Road (A8). This will become Corstorphine Road (A8). Turn right on the Roseburn Terrace (A8). Carry onto West Coates, which becomes Haymarket Terrace (A8). Turn left into Haymarket (A8) and carry on West Maitland Street. This becomes Shandwick Place (A8) which becomes Princes Street. Turn left onto South Charlotte Street (A90) which becomes Charlotte Square and then North Charlotte Street. Turn right onto Albyn Place, and turn left into Queen Street. We are at number 6 Queen Street (opposite end) on the right hand side, next to the Jam House. |

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT PROCEDURE Check-in Check-in and key collection is from 15:00 onwards from our head office located at: 6 Queen Street, New Town, Edinburgh, EH2 1JE. Please note that this is only the location of our office and that you will be supplied with the directions and keys to your apartment. Check-out at 10:00 Self check-out: Self check-out is standard in our apartments so you do not need to return to our central reservations office on the day of check-out. |

There are pay and display areas within 5 minutes walking distance of the Castle Apartments. Alternatively there is a multi-storey National Car Park (NCP) about 12 minutes walk away (kindly ask the concierge for directions). |
