Chang Park Resort Koh Chang

"This was one of the worst places we had stayed in the over 4 months of traveling. The standard bungalow was terrible and full of mosquitos, the fan didn't work there was air conditioning which is OK but hard to feel inside the mosquito net, there were lots of crack in the walls and the door hardly shut, the bathroom had alot of opening to the outside which also let in alot of bugs, the TV was very snowy and not many channels, the pool was nice and the beach is OK, the food wasn't good and the prices were high for Thailand. I walked down the beach and found a place next door which was a real backpackers bungalows for much much cheaper and better than the one we were in so we moved and enjoyed our time there and the restaurant. we met many people that were staying or had stayed at the Chang Park and they were also very unhappy with their bungalow. the room and the more deluxe bungalows may have been OK" - Anonymous

"We stayed at bangaroo type room. Bed was very hard. Reasonable price for this (good) area. Close to a seven eleven (24 hours open) and several restaurants. " - Anonymous

"Our family lives in Thailand and this was our first chance to get to Koh Chang!! Don't bother with Phuket, Koh Chang is a far better option. Trust me, we would know. Also, this hotel in my opinion had the best layout of any hotel on the island. If you have a big crowd of people get the American House as it sleeps 12 and is right on the beach. The rooms in the hotel were great also and the view was extraordinary." - Sheri Falls

"The general upkeep of the hotel is terrible! Our toilet seat had a band aid on it to keep it together, there were bare rusty electrical wires sticking up around the swimming pool and the state of the bungalows was a disgrace! However, the staff were very helpful in terms of service and the semi private beach was quiet - water very clean -jam if a little rocky." - Anonymous
