"This hotel is not as good as the hotel itself describes. It's dated and requires a total revamp of the rooms. However, the rooms are clean and the location is pretty good for central Auckland. On the upper floors the views of the city are good. Parking can be a problem, book first if you require a car park space. The reception area should be manned and open longer than it is, closing at 7pm seems ridiculous for a busy city centre hotel." - Andrew Hufton
