"The location of City hotel Matyas is excellent, just beside the pedestrian street Vaci Utca with its shops and cafes. The famous Market Hall is few minutes walk away and public transport within easy reach.
Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean with a/c and minibar and yes, views to Danube and Castle Hill are just amazing! If you prefer quietness, ask for rooms facing the little side street.
Breakfast is served in beautiful Matyas Pince restaurant and nearby you will find many nice and cosy places to eat!
From airport taxi company Zona will take you to hotel with 3500 HUF and back with 4000 HUF. This is less than the Airport Minibus services charges, if you are two or more!
City hotel Matyas offers you good value for your money.
