"Great location for downtown Nelson and information centre. Excellent and friendly service. Knowledgeable about local events and where/how to travel to places. Rooms were very presentable and comfy. Materials appeared to be new or well maintained. Having a washing machine and dryer helped! I was so impressed I extended the stay by two nights. There are no restaurant facilities onsite. However, if the full kitchen utensils (microwave, stove top and pots/pans etc.) weren't used, Trailways up the road provided meals that could be charged back to the room. The Intercity buses go past De Lorenzos Studio Apartments on the way to their Terminal and are happy to drop off or pickup at the door.
The Airport is a 10 to 15 minute taxi ride away.
Driving into Nelson City on State Highway one from Picton you turn left at the roundabout sign posted city centre (or if driving Richmond you turn right) and you will see De Lorenzos 0.5 kliometre on the left hand side of Trafalgar Street,nearly opposite the main gates into Trafalgar Park Sports Ground. |

The friendly team at our reception will be there to check you in from 1.00pm onwards (we will endeavour to accommodate early arrivals).
Requests (i.e. first floor with Balcony ) will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
Check in after 10.00pm can be made at Trailways Hotel across the road. |
