"With Auckland beds at a premimum , this was our alternative stop over for one night. Spacious room in a villa with super sized bathroom. Car parked under cover and no traffic worries. This is a big ++ in AK. Resturant is okay, staff need to be a bit "happier" when serving, but actual service was fine. Meal okay, drinks pricey, would like to see the green mother in laws tongue! was over done and needs contrast. Mugs, instead of those tiny white coffee/tea cups would be great in the villa , one is always thirsty after driving, we were unable to check out the pool and other facilities, but look forward to doing so in the future. The views are outstanding and well worth driving the extra distance to enjoy." - Anonymous

"We booked a deluxe room which ended up being a villa with double bath room, huge bed and medium lounge area. In addition we had access to the swimming pool and fitness facilities on-site. Basic tea making facilities and mini bar. The room was a bit run down and the tiles could have done with a re-grouting. Otherwise great - lovely view over the misty bay in the morning." - Anonymous

"The units were great, really spacious. The only problem with our stay there was the restaurant.... if you don't have to eat there then don't! The service wasn't that great and the food left a lot to be desired.... the roast potatoes were rock hard inside and the other vegies we had were horrible too and looked dry and old.... definitely do not recommend eating dinner there!" - Anonymous
