"Was not made aware of the perks included with my accommodaton voucher. eg. I was entitled to a free newspaper & light breakfast. I had to ask for the newspaper whilst I was checking out.
Upon arriving at the Reception I was given a room that was already occupied.
Upon checking out I was charged again for accommodation and had to question the reception why I was being charged twice. If I had not brought the above queries to his attention, I would have been well and truly overcharged. Sorry for the shy and introvert person (foreigner) who gets charged double. " - Anonymous

The Gateway Hotel is located just 4 kilometres from Auckland Airport and is ideally situated to provide affordable and friendly accommodation for people flying in or out of Auckland.
The Hotel has 50 ground floor twin, double or triple business studio rooms (some of which are interconnecting), all with an en-suite bathroom, hair dryer, SKY TV, direct dial telephones and tea and coffee making facilities. Some of the bathrooms also have a bath.
There is an outdoor swimming pool - ideal for cooling off and getting some easy exercise after a long flight! The lounge bar has a pool table and a fire in winter, and the family orientated restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner.
Gateway Hotel has conference and function facilities for up to 120 people. |
