"1. They had not recorded our booking, so it was very lucky we took our web site printout. Reception staff admitted fault.
2. We were harassed continuously thru the night with people knocking on our room door, and calling our phone. We could hear rooms in the vacinity of ours experiencing the same. We were asked by one of the maids about our night, and she was concerned, however reception staff seemed very indifferent to our ordeal when we explained what we experienced. I found it very difficult to comprehend their reaction. " - Shane King
"Penrith is about an hour by express train from Sydney; then the hotel is less than 10 minutes from the train station. This room was the only one I could book for New Year's Eve.
The hotel reception staff was very helpful and accommodating: they found train and taxi info for us and allowed a late check out considering it was New Year's Day when we were due to check out.
The room was functional and the space: generous, though the place is probably a bit advanced in years.
