HOTEL NIHONBASHI VILLA TOKYO

"It is a business hotel located very near to the Bakuro-cho station. It is close to the place I'm going. the only dissappointment is that no internet connection available in my room and I cannot connect to the wireless there using the iPass. Had my email pile up for 3 days. Overall, a value for money place to stay. Good for business traveller. " - Chun Yu Chua

"This hotel is quite convenient as it is along the Sobu line (part of JR Line) and only a couple of stations away from Tokyo station. However, there is very little surrounding restaurants at this station as it is located in the old segment of Tokyo. I was able to get a room with LAN (free of charge) but I had to figure out the connection on my own because the receptionist did not know how." - Kah Siong Joseph Tan

"Just one minute from JR, many restaurants and convenience shops nearby. A quiet and decent hotel in good price. However, the required check out time is at 1000 hrs and any late check out warrant extra cost. " - Anonymous

"Cleanliness would have got a 'Very good' if I hadn't had to clean out the clogged drain filter under the bath on the 1st night to stop the bathroom flooding - I know, but my Japanese isn't up to that level and using a plastic bag as a glove, it only took a minute. For the rest - as a cheap hotel 5 minutes from Tokyo station by train, it is excellent. The staff were efficient and the facilities as advertised. I have *never* checked into a hotel in Japan yet that seemed to have noted any of my preferences when booking. I asked for internet and non-smoking. On arrival, I asked about the internet and they changed the room. The room was on a smoking floor. Luckily the ventilation cleared the smell over the 1st night.
