"The service from reception was excellent and allowed for an early check-in which was great.
Went to use the restaurant but after waiting for ages for service was offered a huge table in the middle of the room and as a single diner thought it was ridiculous - why do restaurants not consider the needs of someone travelling alone who wants to inconspicuously have a meal and leave quickly - it is not a 'night out' it is simply a meal! Did not dine there and walked a few hundered metres to something much better.

"Found staff extremely helpful and obliging, they had good knowledge of transport options from the hotel and gave me some really useful information about the surrounding area as well.
I also liked the location with its proximity to Parnell and to the CBD especially with the bus stop right outside.

On leaving the airport take the motorway into the city, get off at the Queenstown Road exit.
Then turn right onto Pah Road, continue straight ahead, Pah Road will become Manakau Road. Keep following along Manakau Road, this will turn into Broadway where you will pass the Newmarket shopping area.
Continue on straight ahead, Broadway will become Parnell Road, when you see a Cathedral on the right hand side, turn right at the lights into St Stephens Ave.
Veer left at the intersection onto Gladstone Road (Parnell School is on the left hand side).
You will find us situated about 800m on the left hand side, directly opposite the Auckland Rose Gardens. |
