"If you are after accomodation to which you can take your 90 year old granny, and your 4 year old, then this is it! If you want some quiet time with the family or a romantic weekend, then forget it. The rooms are ordinary, and overpriced. Nothing is included, no opportunity for robbing you of a few more dollars is overlooked. The facilities are okay, but starting to look run-down. The service is cheery, and the convivial atmosphere is the nicest thing about it --- no one feel intimidated here. If you are looking for a more "boutique-y" experience, go elsewhere. " - Anonymous
"we waited over half an hour just to be served water in the restaurant buffet. We had also ordered a bottle of wine which had not arrived and the hosts graciously gave the wine on the house as an apology. But we then spent the rest of the evening trying to get someone's eye to get some water. Other than that the stay was fabulous " - Angela O'Neil
"This is a magnificent location and, being clear weather, we had unobstructed views over the beautiful Jamieson Valley. The new bathroom is excellent and wants for nothing, however the bed was a little saggy and not very comfortable. Also it's time those old green blankets were replaced - they were the only thing that really let the room down! We were very impressed with the gym and are looking forward to a much longer stay next time. What a bonus having beautiful Leura Golf Course across the road! " - Anonymous
"The fine dining restraunt has no character needs a refurb, food good " - Anonymous
