"On the plus side: Residence Hotel was nice, clean and the staff was very helpful, great breakfast.
On the negative side: Hotel is a little out-dated, neighborhood isn't the best, and it smelled smokey (welcome to Europe!).
In all a decent hotel and I would recommend it for those who aren't looking for a "five star" experience." - Tess Stewart

The Residence Hotel means a personal reception at the highest level. The rooms are stylishly fitted with the best beds, hotel linen and Italian design furniture. For the carpets, the curtains and the bathroom-fittings (bath or shower) we have opted for the best fabrics and for rich marble. Because of the small scale and the committed staff, the hotel is very comfortable and you will feel instantly at home. The hotel has an intimate bar. We also gladly comply with smaller wishes (flowers, newspapers,... ).
The Residence Hotel has a very central location: behind the terraces of the Keyserlei and the Meir shopping street, in between the town center and the central station. The nearby places of interest are the zoo, the diamond museum, the Palace of Justice and the Beguinage. It takes 10 min. to reach the Grote Markt on foot. |

On the Antwerp motorway, exit Borgerhout, direction center by taking the Plantin Moretuslei. After second bridge, turn right into the Simonsstraat. Straight on at the Central Station by crossing the Koningin Astridplein. Turn left at the end and pass under the iron bridge. The Residence Hotel is right in front of you. |
