Heartily welcome at the Hotel Resonanz Vienna!
Our hotel is situated in the Taborstrasse, near to Schwedenplatz and the venerable garden Augarten, between the Exhibition Center Messe Wien, the recreational area Prater and the historical center of Vienna.
In Vienna as an old Imperial City this avenue Taborstrasse, leading directly unto the city walls of Vienna, was the link between north and south. Traders, coach-men, and wayfarers stopped here to take a rest. The taverns in this street were never empty.
The most beautiful sights and attractions can be reached within a few walking minutes: the Stephansdom, Kärntnerstrasse, Graben, Kohlmarkt, as well as the Ringstrasse with the Vienna State Opera, the Natural and Art history museums, the Hofburg Imperial Palace, the Imperial Treasury, and the National Library all situated in the historical center of Vienna.

By Car: From west (Munich, Salzburg):
Take highway A1, A2, or A23 in direction ‘Zentrum’ until you reach Karlsplatz, turn left at the Ring, drive along Ringstraße (Ring Avenue) until Schwedenplatz and then turn into the Taborstraße. After 500 metres, you will find the hotel on the left side.
By public transportation: Underground lines U1 or U4, exit at the station Schwedenplatz. Then take the tramway line 21 (direction Praterkai) or tramway line N (direction Friedrich-Engels-Platz), exit at the station Obere Augartenstraße, and continue walking until number 47-49.
By plane: Vienna Airport Schwechat (VIE) is located around 20 km from the city centre. Taxi costs around 35 Euro. Our tip: arrange a fixed price with the driver! - By train it costs 9 Euro and leaves every 30 min. By S-Bahn (city fast train) S7 it costs 3 Euro. During daytime trains leave every 20 minutes. By bus of the "Vienna Airport Lines" it costs 6 Euro and leaves, during daytime, every 20 minutes.

You can park in the underground garage Karmeliter-markt, which is only 7 minutes by foot from the hotel. We recommend you to first park in front of the hotel, unload your luggage, check in and purchase a parking ticket, especially priced for our guests. With this ticket, you can enter and exit the garage 24 hours to your like.
