"Basic no frills accommodation with some dodgy looking electrical wiring and tired decor. Reasonably clean with comfortable beds. Good value for money for a short stay requiring only a bed for the night. Easy access to the river, Central Park and 72nd Street Metro." - Robert Bailey
"The Hotel I excellent. I simply do not understand the bad reviews. It is clean, the room is nice, the bed is very comfortable, the staff is changing the soaps and towels every day, the receptionist is very helpful and kind, the bathrooms although outside of the room, are placed in every corner of the corridors. The hotel has wireless connection and it is only two blocks from Broadway Ave. The price of a double room is very convenient.

"We had no problems with this hotel and felt that we got what we paid for. The hotel was very affordable and in a great location (a quiet, residential neighborhood in the Upper West Side just a few blocks from the subway and Central Park). The rooms were small and bare, but were relatively clean and included a small fridge and sink. The staff at the desk were helpful and even let us look at the room before deciding whether or not we wanted to check in. While we're not sure we would necessarily stay there again, we were pleasantly surprised by the hotel based on some other very negative reviews we read before we left. " - Sarah Pohle
