"We can recommend the Royal Barriere Hotel Deauville most highly.
The overall ambience of the Hotel is superb and the service is of the highest standard and also although it is a large hotel, it has a calm atmosphere about it.
As for the town of Deauville, it is a shopping paradise for ladies fashion having all the designer labels on offer but without the hassle of shopping in London.
The beach is kept clean and the boardwalk is ideal for an evening stroll to watch the sunset.
Il Parasole restaurant in the town is good for lunch as is the Au P'tit Mareyeur at 4 rue Haute in Honfluer (0033 2 31 98 84 23)
