"Asked for an early check in, but 1 room wasnt available until late in afternoon, and our bags were left in lobby next to internet kiosk and out of site of reception. Room service arrived at 5.00pm on one day and then complained as we were showering to go out for dinner and they had to wait. Also heard another guest complaining as he wanted to check in at 5.00pm and his room wasnt ready. Also rooms were too small for triples, that they advertised. Also a common complaint with other hotels as well, if you book a couple of rooms, months in advance, why can they never have them on at least the same floor?" - Anonymous
"We stayed at Rydges Cronulla because our son had his wedding reception in Cronulla. The hotel was absolutely first class - the view sensational (pity about the weather!) and the staff were equal to any we have encountered throughout the world. Well done all of you - we will definitely be staying at more Rydges in future!" - Margaret Staples
"Hotel is in a great position-just across the road from the beach. Restaurants (with plenty of choices)-movies and shops 200 metres away in the other direction. The train station is approx 750 metres away and easy to access (it takes about 1 hour to reach the city of Sydney). When booking tell reception that you would like breakfast and the price drops approx A$5.00. I would stay there again and the staff are great. " - John Milne
"Had an ocean facing room that was very light and airy. One of the best things was that the curtains were of sufficient quality to keep the light out and allow us a very good nights sleep.
