"New apartments right next door to cairns central shopping which made it very convenient. Lovely rooms and just loved the king size bed. We had a studio room which was great for the two of us with kitchen facilities. Used it as a stopover before we went to Port Douglas. Would highly recommend to anyone even the business travellor.

Cairns, however, leaves much to be desired and is better as a day-trip in and of itself rather than one's ultimate destination point.
