"The hotel is located on far end of St George's St. Probably a good 10-15 mins walk from Victoria Station. The room I had was good value for money though I would advice to pack light as carrying a heavy suitcase up the staircase could be quite inconvenient. All rooms have ensuites and they are quite big and clean. Bed is new. Reception on tv is good. Room number 7 has a balcony. Breakfast was yummy consisting of generous servings of eggs, toast, bacon and sausage served from 6.30-9am. The service is good and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay. I enjoyed it and will stay again." - Anonymous
"1. The hotel has no lift. With 7 flights of stairs to rooms 19-21 (I was in 20) it would be difficult for anyone with climbing difficulties.
2. The TV didn't work.
3. I wasn't able to work out how to use the telephone and there was no instruction book.
4. I was asked to pay cash as VISA did not accept a signature but only a pin-number which I did not have (this may not be the hotel's fault but an alternative method of payment is needed).
5. No muesli provided at breakfast only cornflakes.
6. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
7. Room was small. " - alan pickaver
"The room was quite small, though clean and quiet, and has a good strong shower, which I appreciate! The television didn't work properly - only 2-3 channels and those were blurred (poor reception?) The biggest disadvantage, and one I would urge management to change, is that breakfast is only served until 8:30 a.m. even on a Sunday, which is much too early. I missed breakfast because I overslept - I was still too tired from an overseas flight. Although the room was OK, for that reason I would not stay there again." - Anonymous
"This place has no lift! Don't expect to get help with the luggage too. Staff at front desk isn't too helpful either. Plus it is not near the Waterloo station.
