"Hotel was basic but okay for the price. Staff were very friendly and helpful but - there was an overwhelming smell of air freshner in our room (6) when we went to use the shower in the morning it became clear that it was to cover a dreadful smell that seem to come from the drains. We were due to stay another night but just couldn't - even though it meant no refund. don't know if this was an isolated problem or if other rooms were affected." - Anonymous

From Adelaide take the Main North Road, following the signs to Gawler. Take the Gawler Bypass road, continue until you see the Clare Valley Tourist Region sign, turn left and follow Main North Road all the way to Clare. The Sundowner Clare Valley Motel is located on the left just past the Visitor Information Centre. We are a large white building located up on the hillside overlooking Main North Road.
If coming via Bus from Adelaide, the Bus will drop you in the township of Clare, we are located 1.5kms south of the CBD. |
