"The room was clean but there was a heavy smoke smell in the room and we sprayed it but it still remained. The hallway had an even stronger smoke smell.
We stayed in another Sunroute Hotel in July and we didn''t have the same problem. " - Rene Nakama
"It's pretty near some cool shops in the Umeda district. The walk from the station is not too far if you know which route to take. The service was excellent -- I needed to borrow a sewing kit, and even though there was only 1 set available in the entire hotel (!), the concierge managed to track down the guest who was using it, and bring it to my room. Kudos to Japanese service standards!" - Anonymous
"This hotel is a very decent hotel with this price, I am very satisfied. If you want a place to sleep without any luxury entertainment. I think this is the one. But I would say the location would be difficult to foreigner to find even though there are loads of shopping malls around and near the Osaka station. " - angel yu
"The hotel location is good for those arriving in Osaka main train Station. Rooms are small but this is typical for a business hotel in Japan. Staff spoke very little English but communication is still possible. The only negative was the breakfast selection, which for western food, is very poor. If possible western guests should book without paying for breakfast and get breakfast instead at one at the very many coffee shops in the area." - Trevor Donnellan
