"Really enjoyed our stay in this picturesque hotel - conveniently close to bus stop (2 minute walk) and bus takes you downtown in 10 min.
Very friendly staff - good food. Our children stayed in room 19. It was a huge room, almost like a suite, so definitely ask for that room!
A place to keep coming back to!

"The food was very good (Evening & Breakfast) & the bar with Sky Sports was a bonus as I didn't need to venture into the centre. The room I thought was a little small but it was a single, however it was clean & fine for what I needed. I usually stay in [another hotel] due to the price but this was matched due to a late booking & was only a few hundred yards from where I dropped off a car which was ideal as it needed to be collected early on the Sunday morning. Car Park was a also a bonus as the street parking could have worked out expensive. " - Anonymous
"Pub accommodation - was smoking room which isn't good for non-smokers, can be noisy." - Jon Davis
"Good Points - Bar/Restaurant, the food is good and bar is always lively. Location was also good for Napier University and located in lovely area of Edinburgh. Staff were also nice and helpful.
Bad Points - Desperately in need of decoration, wallpaper hanging off as you come in the door and each room I stayed in needs freshening up. Also, nearly EVERY shower is broken!!! Fixtures don't stay on walls, I stayed in various rooms over an 8 month period and there was only one decent shower. Cleanliness was OK though." - Anonymous
