"The reception staff were very keen to help and very friendly. Could not fault the location as it was so close to the main sites and we would stay in this hotel again." - martyn gray

"I took my 'never-toured Italy family' to Rome & stayed at the Bolivar. We were literally around the corner from the Roman Forum/Colosseum, Quirnale, shopping on Via Nazionale! While you'll end up walking the entire city--this cuts down on A LOT! The hotel was quaint, attendants were very helpful. We had a quadruple room which equated to 4 single beds lined up in a row in a room big enough for a single/double. But fairly comfortable all around. The bkft buffet was on the rooftop in a glassed room that looks out over the city. I highly recommend staying there if you want a comfortable stay, with a nothing-better- location for this price. "the staff are less than helpful, sometimes they made me wonder if words "customer service" actually exist in Italian. The breakfast is not worth it - better to go someplace nicer. The location is superb, though." - Anonymous
