Our restaurant is situated overlooking the magnificent Lake Taupo and the volcanic mountains beyond. Our award winning chefs offer a wide range of culinary experiences. The restaurant is open for breakfast,dinner and lunch by arrangements.

Getting There: Taupo is centrally located in the North Island of New Zealand, approximately 3 hours south of Auckland or 4 hours north of Wellington. The Caboose is situated on the lake front of Taupo on State Highway 1, just one block south of the fire station.
Check-in Procedure: After 2.00pm.
Car Parking: Free Car Parking.
Child Policy: Free up to 12 years when staying in same room as parents or guardians and using existing bedding only. Over 12 years - a charge of $35.00 applies this includes contintnental breakfast. This applies to Premium family rooms only. All other rooms are Double/Twin Share.
