"The location of the hotel is excellent. The pool area is wonderful. however, our room was not well cleaned and there were things left by previous guests in our room. We were not informed prior to our arrival that there would eba $15 per night charge for secure parking. The restaurant is over priced." - Bev Cheal

"Arrived to find out we needed to also pay $100 holding deposit and $15 a night parking. So original balance of$270 ended up at $400. This unbeknown to us was charged on the Friday upfront on the credit card - which we didn't sign for.
We checked out Sunday and paid the $300 balance (minus $100 holding) and they charged us $360. Went back for $60 refund - all sorted.
Discovered low bank balance and had the pain of trying to get the $400 back (told was the norm practice and took 7-10 days to refund) not everyone has that money sitting around for them to do this! - nightmare. Not the most competent of staff and found them slightly snooty too. It's not the Ritz after all.
Apart form that the hotel had lovely rooms, very big and well serviced.

From Sydney, take the F3 freeway and exit at the "Wyong / The Entrance / Yarramalong" exit. Turn right at the top of the exit and follow the signs to The Entrance along Wyong Road, turn left onto The Entrance Road at the Shelley Beach round-a-bout and follow this road for 6-8 minutes until you reach The Entrance. See Check in procedure for further directions.

Access the resort via Duffy's Lane, off Coral Street (The Entrance Road becomes Coral Street at the beginning of the Waterfront Mall). Proceed to the bend on Duffy's Lane where you will see signage to indicate the Resorts "Guest Arrival Zone". Park here while you proceed to Reception to check in. Once issued with your room keys you can use these to access our carpark at the end of Duffy's Lane. |
