"We got a bargain special offer which included a really good breakfast, and were amazed by the hotel's location - just a minute or two's walk to the Esplanade. The pool and jacuzzi were small but we got them all to ourselves on the second day - although we weren't impressed by the fact that we weren't allowed to take our drinks by the pool and had to go into the restaurant area to drink. Room decor and service were really good, and we've recently recommended the hotel to a friend as we were so impressed." - Anonymous

The Hotel Cairns is centrally located just 1 block from the city centre of Cairns and 5 minutes drive from the airport. The hotel is reminiscent of the tropical ' Queenslander' style properties that provides a true experience and tropical ambience. The Award Winning 2006 and 2007 Plantation Restaurant is open 6.00am-9.30am for breakfast daily and 5pm-10pm for dinner Tue-Sat. |

5 minutes from the city centre, bus and rail terminus.
If self driving from the south follow the Bruce Highway into the city, the name of the road then changes to Florence Street. If self driving from the north follow the Captain Cook Highway into the city, the name of road then changes to Sheridan Street and you need to turn left at Florence Street. |
