"No minibar in the room. Very old and scratched furniture, unconfortable bed. Tiny bathroom where I was unable to shut the door. At five o'clock in the morning people shouting in the corridors and banging doors. Fruit juice at breakfast remarkably watered, very poor. You can get the same treatment for half the price in any two stars hotel. " - Anonymous
"We loved this hotel - a gem from a bygone era, with service to match. This remnant of elegant Art Nouveau life is poles apart from the dull same-iness of the "Intercontinental" type hotel. (But if you are the sort of person bothered by faded furnishings & sticking plugholes, don't go!) Having said that, there are major renovation works in progress, so doubtless we will be unable to afford it once completed. The pool is a must - free to hotel guests it is like swimming in the Roman Baths. Only downside - the noisy roundabout outside which forced us to close our window at night." - Charlotte Vanderstegen-Drake
"Great hotel: a reminiscence of the old Austro-Hungarian empire. Despite a slightly worn out bits and pieces especially in the rooms the atmosphere is great. Hotel Brasserie is certainly higly recommendable over the Panorama Restaurant (unprofessional service not matching the prices). The hotel's greatest asset is definitely the thermal spa (internal/external) where you can go almost directly from your room (included in price). At the moment, however, women spa is under reconstruction similarly to the bridge just in front of the hotel so be ready for some noise and possible inconvenience. " - Anonymous
"A very nice hotel with its history of almost 100 years hanging around its premises. Bath, swimming pool and spa are unique and a must for every hotel guest. For me the main reason to stay in this hotel, last time, this time and every other time in the future! " - Wouter Van Zijst
