"I've never been in such a dirty and crummy hotel. If you are located downstairs, don't open the window: you will have the view on some rubbish. If you are upstairs, there's a room where someone who is taller than 1.80 m cannot sleep. And if he is smaller, he will sleep on a very thin mattress placed on a board! Bathrooms are even worth. I visited about 6 rooms as I stayed there with some colleagues. After 1 night we switch to [other hotel] 20 m away from Glendale HP Hotel. " - Anonymous

"We ended-up being put in a Bedsit apartment a few doors down the road, although this meant that the room had more facilities than you would usually expect from a double room (fridge, hob, sink, microwave), it did mean that tea/coffee was not provided in the room (we bought our own). Breakfast in the main hotel could prove to be a bit of a melee with just 4 small tables laid-out in reception." - Martin Gilbey
