"It is a marvellous hotel for this price. When you have a car (like we did) you are in 20 minutes in the city center. The breakfast wasvery good and it is very quiet.

"We stayed here for two nights.
The hotel: The staff were friendly and vey helpful. The room was massive! They had a separate shower, bath and toilet. The food was very good indeed. THIS IS A PROPER 4-STAR HOTEL. We have been to many hotels who claim to be 4 star, but are not. They have the use sports/leisure facilities, although we didn't use them....so I can't comment.
The location: The location is nice and quiet. It is about 5-10 minutes walk to the Pootwachter metro station (line 51). The metro takes about 30 minutes to get to the central station of Amsterdam. It is not in the heart of the city, but in a nice quiet location. It's quite close to the airport.
Unfortunately, on our second morning there, they must have received an unexpected level of guest and struggled to keep the brekfast bowls full. There was a lot of people, with little choice.
