"Budget hotel managed by friendly family members with friendly and helpful non-English speaking staff. Good quiet location for relaxing stay. 30 minutes walk (or by taxi 1USD to 2USD) from touristy areas of Old Quarter. Spartan furnishings but good value for money. Only problem in my room was the shower: low water pressure and no hot water (but hot water supply to the wash basin was ok)." - Anonymous

"We stayed in a twin room in this hotel for three nights while touring around Vietnam. We found the service and hospitality to be good, however only one staff member could speak english well. The hotel itself and the rooms are rather small but it's clean and cosy and has been recently renovated. There is a travel desk in the hotel with reasonably priced packages to Halong Bay. We also enjoyed the Hanoi city tour that the hotel organised for us. The laundry service was cheap at this hotel." - Sonia Manning
