"This is an exceptional hotel. The art deco decor is faithfully and beautifully done, and the wooden floors give the rooms a real warmth and individuality so often lacking at other big hotels. The staff are friendly, helpful and really switched on, with loads of initiative. I have travelled extensively around the world, and this is the best hotel I've stayed in anywhere. No praise high enough for the excellent Heritage Auckland!
