"dubble room for two person was way to small considering the rate 80 euros.... That room we stayed was miniaturial and really small. My toilet at home is bigger. The rooms size would have been ok, if I'd paid 20 euros, but for 80euros it is way too small. Staff was really nice and happy. " - NIKO TURKKA

"My single room was extremely small, but the shared toilet facilities were the sort you might see on a Eurostar train: you couldn't swing a cat. Limited range of breakfast but nevertheless quite friendly staff. I would not say it was a poor hotel, but I'm sure for the price I paid you could get better value elsewhere in Amsterdam. Hotel Flipper is a cosy, friendly familyhotel situated in a residential street in the southern part of the centre of Amsterdam. Out of the noisy city centre but still reacheable within 10 minutes by tram.

Within walkin distance from the museums, Heineken Brewery and the Albert Cuijp market is it the perfect place to start your visit in Amsterdam with. The RAI-congress centre, Amstel station, Science Park A'dam, Amstel business park and the World Trade Centre are just 5 minutes away by public transportation. The A10 highway is just 2 minutes away by car and Schiphol Airport is only 15 minutes away by car.

Getting There:

From central station take tram 4. Get of at the Jozef Israelkade. Cross the bridge and you will see a sign on your left hand side ( telling you to turn left ).

No check-in after 23:00 unless specified or letting us know by email.

Car Parking:

In front of our hotel. Public paid parking. Daycard 18 euro's or 2 euro per hour. Sunday free parking.

Children up to 6 years can stay for free in the parents room. No extra bed.
