"The hotel had not received our booking when we arrived at 6 pm. The staff member took our booking anyway although they were full.100 rooms had been set aside for Auckland airport as the airport was closed. However at 6pm when we arrived they had not been taken up hence we got a room. The location is excellent, and the staff were very friendly, even though they were short staffed. The All Blacks/South Africian rugby game was on in the bar area and the bar person went and got extra chairs for the extra people who came to watch the rugby on the big screen. We will recommend this hotel to others." - Anonymous
