"Rooms are spacious enough, clean and reasonably quiet given the central city location. The lighting in the rooms could be brighter. Staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The only area where the service fell short of expectation was housekeeping - on each of the 2 days we stayed, items such as a bath mat, tissues etc were forgotten which was a nuisance." - Claire and Simone SCHOFIELD

"I am being a bit unfair as far as cleanliness goes but 1 of the rooms that I had booked absolutely stunk as far as smoke goes. It was so state. I realise this is probably not the hotel's fault as obviously a previous customer was smoking in the room. The rooms did have a no smoking sign on the door so the hotel had done their best. They obviously can't see what goes on in the room.
Because of air conditioning windows were not able to be opened so there was no way of getting rid of the smell. The room was 710.

"We had a double room, with 2 double beds in it. There was not much room for anything else, in fact, really the room was too small for 2 beds. I would have liked a bigger room, or perhaps 2 rooms adjacent." - Maryann Pratt
