"Superb Breakfast, good room although in annex across road, hotel located a short walk from the river/canal but not in the centre of the city, this was not a problem as location probably quieter, Hotel did not have a restaurant and there was less choice this side of the river/canal, we found a very fine resturant though in a square just around the corner, all in all a good choice of hotel and location would stay there again without hesitation." - Michael Buglear
"Minor drawbacks:
-The fan is situated in the middle of the room and it is very noisy

Take direction to the centre on the road called Hietzinger Kai - ZENTRUM, passing by the Palace of Schönbrunn SCHLOSS SCHÖNBRUNN to your right side and follow the road straight ahead. You cross the GÜRTEL and turn left after 200 m to the road RECHTE WIENZEILE. Follow the road to the centre to the Ring road which is surrounding the inner city. Passing by all the important sights you will reach the channel - DONAUKANAL to SCHWEDENPLATZ and cross the 3rd bridge left, following the TABORSTRASSE. Turn the 2nd street right, that is the ROTENSTERNGASSE. You will find our Hotel Mercure Nestroy on the right side of the street.
