"Nice hotel - but its in the middle of Osaka's uptown "Love Hotel" area - kind of seedy. Would not recommend you stay there if you have children. Otherwise, Its a nice clean hotel. Also - there are no "no-smoking" rooms - so if you don't mind the smell of tobacco, its a decent place." - Anonymous

"The plaza hotel is located half way between Shin-Osaka and Osaka Station. Both are about a 30 min walk so a taxi (about 1000 yen)from Shin-Osaka would be a good idea if you have heavy luggage. Juso station is about 5 mins away for a quick train trip to Umeda(Osaka) station. Hotel room was clean with 90s style laminate furniture, room was quite spacious, bed very comfortable and big by Japanese standards. Area surrounding hotel was a little seedy (not meaning unsafe, meaning quite a few love hotels and like establishments are located nearby). Covered malls are located nearby and hotel had power transformers for charging my mobile. " - Anonymous
