"A very plain hotel with not much to recommend it. Got ripped off grandly during a Singapore busy period (S$490 for a twin, plus S$56 for two uninspiring breakfasts). Small uncomfortable beds. Will not be back unless I have to - there are far better hotels for the same general price." - David Cook
"A good and clean hotel to stay for a short break for business travellers. Room is big and comfortable with good in-room facilities, should be more than 4 star rating but claimed only at 4 star. The common room rate is above S$ 300+ but I managed to grab a good last minute deal from [your website].

"We picked this up at the last minute so prices were reasonably lower than normal. Room was lovely, not a good view but nice none the less. The cleaners were suprisingly not very thorough, neglecting to clean the bathroom floor properly. Location is quite good and about a 5-10 min walk from the MRT. Stay away from the mini bar as it cost us $9 for 2 cans of pepsi. Overall quite nice." - Andrew Morrison
"The staff were fantastic.Every one said hello/good morning and seemed to mean it.I stayed on the Orchid Club floor.The girls who run that floor are just the best.They really were professional.The facilites are just being updated and are very good,and the location is easy access to the airport,Clarke Quay and all the major shopping areas.My only downside is that the bed was very hard,but I think that is maybe more an Asian preference rather than a Westerners',but I am sure that Parkroyal can overcome something as small as that for those customers like me who prefer a softer bed.Otherwise I can highly recommend this hotel.Enjoy." - Wesley Miller
