"We found the cleaning of the room was rushed and things missed being cleaned or changed. etc sheets & towels not changed after 3rd night. Only left "please makeup room sign" out once. Everything else was great. Thankyou. " - BARBARA SARON
"Only stayed 2 nights but really enjoyed ourselves. Nice views from the upper levels over city lights and the river. Meals at Wildes Restaurant on the ground floor were very good value, including the breakfast deal which could be delivered to your room. Building is located 3 blocks from Queen Street Mall so handy to everything. " - Merv Grant
"We had a clean, modern and spaceous appartment on the highest (30th) floor. Some minor disadvantages: rather noisy within airco's and city traffic. No internet facilities, unless you bring your own laptop. States that it's a 10-15 minutes walk to the convention centre (Southbank), while actually it took us nearly 25 minutes.

"NO English speaking staff except for the reception makes it very hard to relate to staff that are only asian.
Room was not cleaned to our satisfaction and reminents of broken beer bottles and cigarette butts on the balcony was pretty disappointing. Luckily no-one got glass in there feet before it was noticed.

**Due to increasing demand for rooms, construction has started on the tallest building in Brisbane, ‘Vision’, next door to Oaks 212 Margaret. The Brisbane International and Domestic Airports are located about 20km from the Brisbane CBD, approximately $36.00 by Taxi or $10.00 per person by Air-train.
If you are driving in from the Airport enter the CBD area via Anne Street turning left into Edward Street, then right into Mary Street then left into Albert Street then turn left into Margaret Street (Note Margaret St is a One Way St). 212 on Margaret will be on the left hand side.
If you are catching a train into Brisbane, Central Street and Roma Street stations are about a 10 minute Taxi ride from the property.
If you are driving up from the Gold Coast stay in the left hand lane of the Riverside Expressway and as you cross over the Captain Cook Bridge you will see the turn off for Margaret Street, 212 on Margaret will be a few blocks down on the left hand side, next to the Kings Carpark.

Rates are per room for the indicated number of guests. Extra guests can be accommodated on a double sofa-bed, at an additional $30 per night. Children under 12 years may stay free in "existing bedding". Infant Cots and High-Chairs & Pram are available for hire upon request at a cost of $20 per night per item. |
