"Not the best hotel in the world, but if you are looking for a cheap hotel with a good base to explore london, then this is good value for your money. The first room we were given was awfull, dark and tiny looking onto the fire escape, the second room although still small was much brighter with views onto the street. The rooms, although clean were in need of a paint job,as was the whole hotel in general, but the painters were there so i think they are trying to improve on this. The breakfast was very good in continental style, and there was plenty to go round. There is no bar at this hotel so dont expect one.I found the staff to be friendly and helpfull.
On a whole the hotel was ok,but to be honest more like a bed and breakfast than a 3*hotel,if your happy with no frills then im sure you would be fine at this hotel,if you want something a bit special pay the £100 pounds or more per night and go to somewhere else." - joseph sisson
"Close to underground, shops etc. Friendly staff. Breakfast basic but sufficient." - Janet Dack
"This hotel offers reasonable accomodation at a fair price in an excellent location." - Janet Dack
"Fire alarm kept going off up to three times per night! Response from the night porter was that somebody must be smoking in their room and he kept turning off the siren. I would recommend avoiding the hotel if you want a good nights sleep, until they fix their alarm system." - Anonymous
