"A little too far out of the city but great beach exposure for overseas visitors wanting the aussie beach scene. very good food services and outside hotel eating experiences.

"Accomodation was specifically for two Queen beds. Initially put in a room with one queen bed. Took a lot of effort to change rooms and they were very reluctant to honour the booking.
The hotel is in a great location for the beach but getting a taxi to the city or airport ranged from very difficult to impossible. Fortunately bus and rail link to the city was good and inexpensive.
Rooms are getting old and fittings either didn't work such as the wardrobe doors or were badly fixed. Toilet was set at an angle, very uncomfortable.
Bedroom door security was suspect. A drunk was able to bash through the door at 5.30 am. He was handled by security after getting him out of the room." - Murray Godfrey
