"We really enjoyed our stay at the San Gill. Facilities were fabulous and the staff were so friendly. We were a little surprised to find a four star hotel in the area but once we found our feet everything was fine though it is more than a 10 minute walk from the centre!

"Our family had a wonderful time at this lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well maintained. There is a really nice interior courtyard where we enjoyed a beer or coffee while the kids had an ice cream. The rooftop pool is small but pleasant. The location is a little away from the centre but a very pleasant walk along the river brings you to the centre. Otherwise a short (and cheap) taxi ride brings you there. "We stayed in a junior suite which was very comfortable, spacious and air-conditioned. Hotel is clean and staff pleasant. Good choice of buffet breakfast, but evening meal in restaurant was limited. Rooftop pool and terrace areas are a nice bonus in a city hotel - even in November! Location is away from city centre but are an easy walk to sights, shops and restaurants.
