"The facility of the hotel is very aged and the rate is certainly overpriced- which I am able to stay in a 5-star hotel in Auckland for less, on New Year's Eve! I am also not satisfied with the location of the wing I stayed, which is farther away from the town than the main wing. Carpark is not located with easy access to the room. I am also surprised to hear that your company is charging 10% commission from them, in addition to the booking fee I have already paid- this is not a fair charge to the customers." - Jonathan Bok

"Very expensive but bit of a captive market as it's the only major hotel in a what's a small tourist town. Nice views across to the glacier (if you are up high in one of the hotel blocks that face over to it!). Acceptable." - Graeme Watson
