Silken Hotel Taipei

"I am from Singapore and has recently stayed at Silken Hotel triple room. The rooms are spacious and clean and washrooms are sanitized, also fully equiped with toothbrushes,shower gel,shampoo,facial foam,mouthwash and even essential oils for the bathtub! The jacuzzi bathtub is also a selling point! They provide a plasma TV, small fridge, and also a couch in the room. The beds were not too hard and very comfortable, especially after a whole day's travelling. The only minus point is the location, which is 15mins from the nearest metro station (Yuan Shan Station). However, it is very near the expressway so taking a cab is very convenient just outside the hotel." - Anonymous

"Nice size rooms, large tv, clean, free Internet. Good value. 15 minute walk from MRT and from first stop on airport bus. Hard to find, as name in English does not appear on building (just SS). Minimal but OK breakfast." - Gary Barrett

"Great hotel, stayed 2 nights. Room although not as glitzy as the photos, was very good, spotlessly clean. Staff were excellent and speak English. Breakfast buffet included ham, eggs, toast etc. plus oriental cuisine. Location was good, I was able to walk everywhere taking the occassional taxi. Airport bus is just around the corner.
