"This hotel was great because of location, price. It was tough to find the reception desk (1 floor up) and the staff weren't always around, but they were friendly & helpful when there. Our room was HUGE, with a bathroom, refrigerator (wow!) & view of the duomo. Very convenient -we walked everywhere. We would definitely stay there again. "The room we stayed in was very large and the price we received was incredible. It's only a little more than a block from the train station and about a 1/2 mile from the Duomo. The hostel was very secure. We had wi-fi access, a hotpot to make coffee or tea and plenty of storage area. Yes, it was plain but private and comfortable. The only negative thing I have to say is that the traffic and outside world was noisy but I think that would be pretty much the case anywhere in downtown Florence. " - Anonymous

Train station: Santa Maria Novella is just 150 meters from our place: when you get down from the train, take your left, exit the train station, across the road and take the right. Then after Mac Donald, other left again. You are in Via Nazionale. Keep the left side of the street. We are in front of the Atlantic Palace Hotel, ( after hotel Sempione ) where is the bus stop .
( Please be carefull , our street number : 17 is in blue colour - dont follow the red colour numbers ) . !!!
Bus station: 150 meters.
There is also a bus stop in front of the Guest House .
From the Airport:
You can take a shuttlebus from the 'arrivals' area, it is a 'Sita' bus, you get at the central station in 25 minutes. Departures every 30 minutes.
