Hotel Description:    Standing on Hobart’s waterfront a row of historic warehouses dating back from the early 1820’s and a former IXL Jam factory have been transformed into an enthralling first class hotel showcasing the work of Tasmania’s finest visual artists. Getting There: The Henry Jones Art Hotel is perfectly positioned on the edge of Victoria Dock with a world class view of Mount Wellington and the picturesque Fisherman’s Wharf. The major highways of the A1 and A3 lead directly to Davey Street and the south eastern side of Hobart’s stunning waterfront where the Henry Jones IXL building has been standing for almost 200 years. The hotel is only a quick stroll away from the CBD and the internationally renowned Salamanca Market.

From Hobart airport follow the Tasman Highway to Davey Street and proceed left onto Evans Street. The hotel stands on Hunter Street directly opposite Victoria Dock.
