"Not the easiest to find, but once I did find it, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Depsite arriving a little earlier than expected they managed to get our room ready early. The location is ideal to get to the nearby Metro stations and use as a base if you are looking to to primarily just sleep there. Some of the hotel is still under development, so there were no catering facilities. Also there is a small pool and pool bar, neither of which were open yet. "The hotel lobby is down a lot of stairs and the room was up a lot of stairs with the elevator not working. Carrying luggage was difficult. Also the wireless internet was challenging. However, overall the hotel was very clean, close to the train station and reasonable in price." - Anonymous

The brand new Strand Hotel has 25 rooms distributed over three floors, all equally furnished with a functional and elegant design, charmingly paved with parquet floor and equipped with valuable comforts such as lcd tv, mini-bar, air conditioned/heating and private bathroom.

Third floor rooms have got a typical inclined wooden ceiling which gives an additional touch of style.

Special features at the Strand Hotel include an outdoor swimming pool (seasonal) with sun terrace and a refined cocktail bar, that will ensure both business and leisure travelers an enjoyable and relaxing stay in Rome.

The subway line will quickly and effortlessly take you close to the major sights of the city, including San Giovanni in Laterano, the Spanish Steps, Piazza del Popolo, St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican Museums.

The hotel is brand new (open on the 3rd of april) and breakfast is not available yet. You can enjoy a nice breakfast (not included in the rate) in the BAR situated just in front of the hotel.

By car: From the G.R.A take the exit for Via Tuscolana and proceed for the centre of Rome. The Hotel is on Via Tuscolana n° 892.

By metro. Take line A and exit on "Porta Furba" metro stop. The hotel is conveniently just at few meters distance.

By metro Termini Station is at 10 minutes only
