foo fighters gig accommodation

This was just an overnight stay to see the gig at the Emirates. Free car parking and easy access to the hotel make it ideal. Eight of us stayed over and it was good with helpful staff sorting taxis etc. No complaints from anyone and at the price who can complain. As I have stayed here many times before it was as expected, good value clean accommodation with the free parking.

just the ticket!

Easy to reach from main motorways. Easy access into city on foot or by bus. Free parking and WiFi were especially appreciated. Room overlooking the river had everything you would need for a short stay. Restaurant and bar had very good food at value prices and staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Family visit to son in Salford Quays

Campanile is next to Manchester city centre which is in walking distance there is also a shopping centre right opposite the hotel with Sainsbury's Argos etc. Staff are friendly and helpful. We booked a triple room at same price as double and had significantly more space. This is a value for money hotel so don't expect luxury, but otherwise it is good.

A cheap room

Stayed here for pixies at castlefield bowl, it's a short walk away so good location. Seems nice on arrival, however got to reception at 3 (check in time advertised) to be told the room wasn't ready and come back in an hour. It's cheap, but so are premier inn, around the same cost and yet the standard of quality is vastly different. Bedding was clean but the room was tatty and dated, looked like woodchip walls!! Bathroom was old beige and blue tiles that had drip run marks from partial cleaning, bath didn't look very clean and there layers of dusty coatings on the card info notices in the room. TV had hardly any channels in a really random order and no TV guide button, tried to find film 4 for about half an hour and gave up!! There also seemed to lumps of undefinable crud stuck around the buttons of the remote control! Woke up to the sound of somebody else's massive domestic row, loads of banging and a Hoover going at about 9am. It did for a very cheap stay but I'd really prefer somewhere else in future, and I'm really not a fussy traveller!

Value for money

Overall was pleased with the hotel, secure and safe, walking distance to centre, only downside was bare wires coming from hairdryer on wall and under table, but I would stay again,

Very Surprised for the price

This hotel was perfectly located for the Coronation St tour. Just 10 min walk. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. They even let us leave our car there all day after our check out time so we could do the corrie tour without parking charges . The room was just what i expected for the price, clean and basic. i would definitely recommend this hotel for a quick stopover in central Manchester.

This would not have been my first

This would not have been my first choice for hotels in Manchester, however we booked this hotel after finding it difficult to get a decent priced hotel in the city centre. Lots of free parking spaces, reception staff pleasent and welcoming. It is a basic hotel - i.e. small rooms with adjoing bathroom with a decent enough shower. Walls are fairly thin so prepared to hear some noise. The decor and fittings look a little tired and could do with a refurb. There is a kettle with sachets of tea and coffee which you dont always expect to see at cut price hotels. You can walk into the City Centre within 15 minutes. There is a JS, McD's and KFC opposite the hotel. So overall the hotel was satisfactory for an overnight stay but don't expect modern, new decor or luxurious comfort.

I only stayed 1 nite but found

I only stayed 1 nite but found it a very pleasant experience . Staying slightly out of the city centre meant free parking and internet an added bonus we walked into the centre of Manchester very easily enjoyed a lovely meal and a few drinks then got a taxi back in the wee hours ! The only downside was there was a bit of noise in the morning !!! Would def. stat again

We've stayed at this hotel before

We've stayed at this hotel before without issue, but unfortunately this time around somebody had decided that leaf blowing needed doing at 5.30am in the morning! This continued for a solid 2 hours, keeping up awake & resulting in an awful nights sleep.
